台灣原色─原生藝術 大地的采顏｜Colors of Indigenous Taiwan

三月初，我們跟著泰雅族藝術家林春節老師，前往澳門參加一場特展。展覽名稱是《臺灣原色─原生藝術 大地的采顏》，地點在澳門國父紀念館。這是我們第一次將葉鞘作品帶出國展出。

這場展覽由澳門主辦單位發起，邀請來自台灣的原住民族創作者，包含林春節老師與我們「拿鞘」，一同將來自土地與部落的創作帶到澳門分享。展出的主題，是關於「原」──原生、原色、原意。

山是母親，部落是源頭。原住民族的創作，總是與生活環境、信仰與感知密不可分。這次的展覽，也希望透過作品語言，讓澳門的朋友看見：材質的真實、色彩的節奏，以及大地的靜默語彙。

這是我們第一次參與海外策展，也是一個重新思考「來自哪裡」與「要走向哪裡」的過程。走過一段山路後，把手邊的葉子變成一個形狀，放進不同的風景裡，我們也在慢慢尋找，自己在其中的位置。

3月初め、タイヤル族のアーティスト林春節さんと一緒に、マカオでの特別展に参加しました。展覧会のタイトルは「台湾原色－原生芸術　大地の采顏」、会場はマカオ孫中山記念館です。私たち「拿鞘」にとって、葉鞘の作品を海外で紹介するのは今回が初めてでした。

この展示はマカオの主催者によって企画され、台湾からの先住民族アーティストを招き、それぞれの土地や部落の文化を紹介する場となりました。林春節さんとともに、私たちも作品を持って参加しました。テーマは「原」── 原生、原色、そして原点。

山は母であり、部落は根です。台湾の先住民族の創作は、自然環境や信仰、日々の感覚と切っても切れないものです。今回の展示では、素材の素直さ、色彩のリズム、そして土地の静かな声を、マカオの人々に届けたいと思いました。

海外の展覧会に参加するのは初めてで、「私たちはどこから来て、どこへ向かうのか」──そんな問いが、自然と心に浮かびました。山道を歩き、手にした葉を形にし、見知らぬ風景に置いてみる。そこに、自分たちの場所を少しずつ見つけていくような気がしました。

In early March, we traveled to Macau with Atayal artist Mr. Lin Chun-Chieh to participate in a special exhibition.Titled “Taiwan Colors – Indigenous Art: Earth’s Palette,” it was held at the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial House.This was our very first time presenting a sheath-based work outside of Taiwan.

The exhibition, organized by local curators in Macau, invited Indigenous artists from Taiwanto share creations deeply rooted in their land and communities.We were honored to take part alongside Mr. Lin and to contribute a piece born from the forest and our hands.The theme: “origin” — original, organic, and rooted.

The mountains are our mother. The village, our origin.For many Indigenous creators, art is inseparable from the land, belief, and everyday feeling.Through this exhibition, we hoped to let our work quietly speak —of material honesty, the rhythm of earth-toned colors, and the unspoken language of place.

This was our first time curating abroad,and it became a moment of quiet reflection —Where do we come from? Where are we going?Walking the mountain paths, turning fallen leaves into forms, placing them into new scenery,we began to trace the contours of our place within it all.
